I’ve accepted there’s a time jump probably at the start of season 7 and with those images Jimmy Gadd put up I’m kind of hoping its like the first scene of the season.

Some crime scene Lisbon showing up with Cho and Abbott and classic Jane is late to…

As far as I know no one has said anything I was just saying I feel there will be. Not necessarily a big one or anything but I would be shocked if they start from the end of Blue Bird.
I’m just saying what I would like given these beautiful pictures jimmy shared with us.

Thanks for explaining :) Just didn’t read closely enough. Sry.

here is my take on the ring some think he's being unfair to lisbon by wearing the ring why do we think it's not unfair for lisbon to wear her cross necklace for her mother to me the ring symbol is about charlotte just as much as angela so jane's cross necklace is his ring does this make sense?

I think a wedding ring, implies a personal, intimate, exclusive relationship with a spouse. That’s a very specific relationship and the ring signifies it’s importance in a marriage bond.

The cross does not have nearly the same type of connotation, and not to a specific person at all (unless we count Jesus). We can assume Lisbon’s mother loved it and Lisbon loves it because it was her mother’s. It could have been a charm bracelet or even a ring. And while Lisbon’s attachment to it is very strong, it would never have the meaning that a wedding ring carries, a singular specific meaning that nothing else has.

The level of significance of the two items does not begin to compare in my view, country. Lisbon’s mother’s cross in no way interferes with her relationship with Jane. It would be silly to think such a thing. Not so with Jane’s wedding ring. Whether it ends up mattering much to Lisbon is another story and something we’ll see. But what’s inherent in Jane’s ring is not inherent in Lisbon’s cross, imo. Just me.

I’m sure Lisbon loves her cross because it belonged to her mother, but mainly because it represents her faith in God.

That ring is a commitment, the cross is a symbol. Lisbon’s Catholic (I am too) and the cross is important, but it’s not the same thing. Bottom line is, Jane needs to take that ring off (and talk to Lisbon). We’re torturing ourselves waiting for January, but there has to be something discussed on that topic.
